February 8, 2018China Conducted Mid-course Anti-missile Test
China’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) has announced that it successfully tested a land-based mid-course missile interception system on 5 February. The test, which was carried out within Chinese territory, “achieved the expected goals”, the MND said in a statement, adding that the move was “defensive and not aimed at any country”. The MND provided no other details.
