For the simulator where a mock-up ship bridge and combat systems will be included, the 76mm gun of Ahmad Yani class KRI Slamet Riyadi (352) frigate was removed. It was announced that the disassembled weapon will be used in the training of soldiers at the simulator centre. It is reported that the centre will be built on the Indonesian Marine Corps shooting range. The contract was signed with PT Len for construction activities. Work for the complex, which will include the fire control radar, combat management systems and communication systems, is planned to start in 2019.
