April 20, 2018Argentina’s Fast Patrol Boats Have Been Shipped
The first two of four Shaldag MK II fast patrol boats, built for Argentinian Coast Guard by Israel under a $49 million contract, has been shipped from Israel. Argentine ministry of security ordered the four boats from Israel in December 2016. The new vessels are to be deployed on rivers for counter-drug missions and for border patrol. The 25,5-metre boats can reach a maximum speed of 48 knots and accommodate 10 personnel.
