The second prototype of Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA (Attack Unmanned Aerial Vehicle), developed by the BAYKAR company, took off for the second time today. The second flight test is performed at Bayraktar AKINCI Flight and Training Centre, located in Çorlu Airport Command. The UAV reached an altitude of 20 thousand feet (approximately 6100 m).

The second prototype of Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, which took off at 14:14 within the scope of the Medium Altitude System Verification Test, stayed in the air for 2 hours and 26 minutes. After the tests, the fourth flight test of Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA, which put a wheel on the runway at 16.40, was successfully completed.

Akıncı's second prototype made its first flight 6 days ago on Thursday, August 13th. At that test, AKINCI stayed in the air for 1 hour 02 minutes at an average altitude of 5,000 feet. Currently, ground and flight tests continue with two prototypes.

Bayraktar AKINCI TİHA made its maiden flight on December 6, 2019. AKINCI, made a 16-minute flight within the scope of the test.Second flight took  1 hour 06 minutes for the System Verification Test on January 10, 2020.
