Poland, which has been working on replacing the Soviet era platforms with new generation domestic vehicles in its inventory, has announced a new procurement intention. Polish Minister of Defence Mariusz Błaszczak announced the intention with “We plan to purchase 60 Rosomak-S wheeled armored personnel carriers for handling portable Spike kits. We want to conclude the agreement in the third quarter of this year. Rosomak-S is known as the family's armoured personnel carrier version. The platforms are suitable for the transfer of anti-tank teams equipped with Spike missiles. The Rosomak product family was developed on Patria AMV. Vehicles in 8×8 configuration can reach a maximum speed of 100 km/h. It is spoken in the defence backstages that Rosomak-S will be deployed to the eastern border, where the tank threat is high.
