Saudi Arabia has launched F-15SA “Eagle Fighters” today, during an event organized to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of King Faisal Air College. The ceremony was attended by Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz. The F-15SA is the most advanced configuration of F-15 Eagle, featuring two additional hard points and weapon systems, upgraded avionics, BAE Systems’ Digital Electronic Warfare System/Common Missile Warning System (DEWS/CMWS), Raytheon’s APG-63V3 Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar and more powerful General Electric F110-GE-129 engines.
