Vietnam has taken action to provide satellite navigation capabilities. As a result of negotiations with Russia, an agreement was has signed.
In the statement made by Roskosmos, the KCT 15 missiles in the Vietnam inventory will gain the ability to GLONASS guidance. GLONASS based guidance system will be used for the missiles that can reach a maximum range of 200 kilometers.
The KCT-15 system is the licensed version of the Russian Kh-35 missile. It has a turbojet propulsion system. The weight of the subsonic missile is approximately 620 kilograms. System, can be guided to its target with a combination of different guidance systems, can carry 145 kilograms of warhead.
