ASELSAN’s ANTIDOT and FULMAR pods demonstrated radar detection, electronic attack and SAR imaging capabilities on two separate Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicles during an international demonstration event held in Konya. In the showcase, attended by defense delegations from 18 countries, one TB2 was fitted with the ANTIDOT 2ES 100 and ANTIDOT 2EA 200, while the other carried the FULMAR 200.
The pods jointly displayed electronic support, electronic attack, reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities within a single coordinated operational scenario.
From Radar Detection to Electronic Attack
In the first test, ANTIDOT detected and located a target radar system during flight. After the electronic support pod relayed the target data, ANTIDOT carried out an electronic attack on the target. According to the information shared, this allowed the TB2 equipped with ANTIDOT systems to approach the target without being detected.


Detection and localization, electronic attack, and high-resolution imaging came together in a single operational cycle across two TB2 platforms. This marked the first time ANTIDOT was tested against real radar systems aboard a TB2, while also demonstrating interoperability between ANTIDOT and FULMAR.
Features of the ANTIDOT and FULMAR Pods
The ANTIDOT 2ES 100 detects, identifies and digitally records signals from air defense radar systems, precisely determining the direction and location of the threat. It can transmit all the data the user needs to the ground control station in real time via the aircraft’s communication band.
The ANTIDOT 2EA 200 combines electronic support and electronic attack capabilities in a single pod. Thanks to its compact size, low weight and optimized power consumption, the pod—which is described as easily integrable into unmanned aerial vehicles—detects hostile air defense systems and their bearing. It measures the signal characteristics of these systems’ search and tracking radars in detail, with the resulting data used for threat identification. Operating fully autonomously, the pod attacks air defense radars using the electronic attack techniques loaded onto it.
The FULMAR 200 is a lightweight, compact, low-power SAR system developed for reconnaissance and surveillance on both manned and unmanned aerial platforms. Its AESA-structured radar can perform Spotlight and Stripmap SAR functions day and night, in all weather conditions. Capable of being mounted under the wing or on the fuselage, the pod can be used alongside EO/IR cameras.
