Combining conventional explosive munition logic with surgical precision, ROKETSAN is introducing a new doctrine to the modern battlefield with NEŞTER, a next-generation munition equipped with proximity sensors and cutting blades. Displayed for the first time at SAHA EXPO 2026, this system stands out as one of the most remarkable innovations in Türkiye’s defence industry, thanks to its ability to neutralise a target without causing mass destruction.
The Era of Surgical Operations on the Battlefield
Developed as a variant of the MAM-L product family, NEŞTER has been designed around the principle of minimum collateral damage. Unlike conventional solutions, the system can destroy pinpoint targets directly using its special warhead and cutting blades. It offers a strategic advantage, especially in operations conducted near civilian settlements.

Four Game-Changing New Systems
At the fair, ROKETSAN not only showcased NEŞTER but also unveiled three new technologies that will reshape the balance between cost and effectiveness on the battlefield:
Mini Cruise Missile: Despite its low-cost structure, this system can carry a heavy warhead and gather visual intelligence. It is designed to penetrate air defence networks.
CİRİT Anti-UAV: Presented as a powerful alternative to high-cost air defence missiles, this system creates an effective shield against UAV threats using its proximity sensor and special warhead.
CIDA: Featuring a hybrid seeker head that can be integrated onto land, sea and air platforms, this system increases strike impact on the battlefield with its long range and beyond-line-of-sight engagement capability.
A Strategic Showcase for Türkiye’s Defence Industry
Murat İkinci, General Manager of ROKETSAN, stated that SAHA EXPO 2026 serves as a strategic showcase that announces the level Turkish engineering has reached to the world. İkinci emphasised that at the fair, where they are participating with nearly 40 different products, NEŞTER and the other new systems were developed entirely with domestic resources, in response to current battlefield needs.
