As a part of an agreement that was signed by Qatar and the United States in June for the latest variant of the Boeing-made F-15QA Advanced Eagle combat aircraft, Boeing has been awarded $6,17 billion to manufacture and deliver 36 platforms according to the US Department of Defense (DoD) announcement on 22 December. The deliveries are planned to be completed by 30 December 2022.
Qatar Emiri Air Force (QEAF) has recently signed agreements for the purchase of 36 Dassault Rafale fighters and 24 Eurofighter Typhoons.
