Boeing revealed partners to support its bid to supply CH-47 Chinooks for Germany's heavy-lift helicopter competition. The company will work with CAE, Diehl Defence, Honeywell, Liebherr, Rockwell Collins and Rolls-Royce to provide “local long-term support and training” services. Boeing’s offer will either be based on the standard CH-47F model or extended-range MH-47G version.

Germany is expected to release a final request for proposal by the end of this year. Chinook is competing against Sikorsky's CH-53K in German heavy-lift helicopter tender.
