January 17, 2017Nigeria Took Delivery of Two Mi-35M Attack Helicopter
Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has taken delivery of two Mil Mi-35M attack helicopters from Russia. Awarding the relevant contract of 12 helicopters in November 2016, Nigeria will receive the remaining ten helicopters by the end of 2018. Although the helicopters were actually received, they did not officially enter the inventory. Once the helicopters enter service, they will participate in various operations. Nigeria wants to utilize the platforms especially in close air support missions.
