The M1 Abrams main battle tanks, which have proved themselves in the battlefield with their electronic equipment and efficiency continue their development.

Deliveries of M1A2C (SEP v3), the most modern version of the M1 Abrams, which have been continuously updated in line with the requirements of the combat conditions, have started since the inventory entered. 1st Cavalry Division 3rd Armored Brigade 8th Cavalry Regiment 3rd Battalion Combat Team became the first user of the platforms. The unit affiliated to brigade, which also known as the Gray Wolf Brigade, has become one of the most advanced combat-capable elements among the units of the U.S. Army. After the theoretical and live fire training activities to be carried out in the coming weeks, the tanks will begin to become operational.

The SEP v3 package, developed on the M1A2 SEP v2, has more advanced features in areas such as survivability, maintenance, sustainment and warfare in the network environment, than to its predecessor.
