The new submarine project, which has problems in the management of processes, continues its progress.

Suppliers are determined in the new generation submarine procurement program run by the Royal Australian Navy. In this context, contracts were signed with Sunlight and PMB Defence companies for the supply of main batteries, which will ensure the full operation of the platforms under water. Under the agreement, contractors will be responsible for the design, prototype manufacturing and qualification processes for the main batteries.

The main batteries are responsible for storing the electrical energy needed by submarines for electrical propulsion systems which are using during dive. On the other hand, the energy required for the operation of all equipment requiring electricity is also stored by these systems.
