Greek Cyprus and Israel have completed joint air force exercise “ONSHELL – GENDER 2/2018”. According to a statement from Greek Cypriot Ministry of Defence, the exercise took place within the “Nicosia Flight Control Area” where Greek Cypriot personnel from National Guard, and various types of aircraft from Israeli Air Force joined the exercise.  The purpose of the exercise was to train staff on tactics and ways to develop aviation, to increase combat capabilities and to gain experience from working with other countries' Air Force, the announcement concludes.
