Hürkuş took off for April 23

Turkish Aviation and Space Industry (TUSAŞ) celebrated April 23, National Sovereignty and Children's Day with a special live broadcast. In the live broadcast on the company's Instagram account, test pilot Murat Özpala first answered the questions of the children. Then, with Özpala and Barbaros Demirbaş flying Hürkuş, the viewers instantly had the chance to follow the flight from the cockpit.

Approximately five thousand people watched the flight of the aircraft numbered Hürkuş-B 103, which was designed and developed by TUSAŞ and produced for the Turkish Air Force, in Kazan, Ankara. To keep the broadcast connection intact, Hürkuş, who flies in a previously determined area, did not perform an aerobatic manoeuvre for the same reason. Hürkuş-B remained in the air for 20 minutes.

During the broadcast, Murat Özpala gave information about both the plane and the flight. He commemorated Vecihi Hürkuş.
