Northrop Grumman released a video about the demo version of Firebird, developed in manned, autonomous and optional pilot configurations.

Firebird, which will be used for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance/ ISR missions, is designed to provide flexibility with open architecture and useful load integration.

The Firebird product family is equipped with an autonomous mission-capable aircraft body; the time required for load integration has been reduced by the rapid interchangeability of the platform's sensors.

The technologies developed in Firebird, which will be used in medium-altitude ISR operations, are planned to provide mission flexibility in line of vision and cross-visibility operations, enabling users to perform their tasks through different pilot and load configurations.
