F-35 Maintenance Center for Australia

Australia is preparing to open F-35 Lightning II maintenance center. The center of TAE Aerospace will be located in Bundamba, Queensland. Maintenance of the engines of the F-35 aircraft will be serviced. In the statement made about the Center, it is noted that the center will serve not only the F135 engines supplied by Australia, but also the users in the Asia-Pacific region and other F-35 users.

Australia approved 72 F-35A Lightning II procurement. These aircraft replace the existing F/A-18A/B platforms, which have come to the end of service life. The pilots of the Royal Australian Air Force, currently receiving five F-35A Lightning IIs, are continuing their F-35 training at the Luke Air Force Base in Arizona.
