Bundeswehr, which received budget agreements from Bundestag for vehicle modernisation and new system procurement, ordered another new missile system. 

According to a statement from the Germany's Federal Office for Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw), office signed an agreement with the MBDA for Enforcer missile system procurement. Systems purchased within the scope of the Leichtes Wirkmittel 1800+ requirement of the Bundeswehr. System close the short-range ammunition gap of the German Armed Forces.

The enforcer has modular structure and can be effective against targets between 500 and 1800 metres range. Ammunition weighs 7 kilograms and combat weight of the system is 9 kilograms including launcher. Thanks to its low  collateral damage capability, the system provides safe use in urban areas and can be effective against light armored vehicles and moving or stationary targets. Enforcer can launch from behid cover or closed areas. The system, which can be used in all kinds of ambient conditions, also has the fire and forget capability.
