Turkish defence industry companies continue to use their experience in this field for a solution in the fight against coronavirus. Offering remote-controlled robotic system solutions, Elektroland Defence has developed robots to combat the virus. Working in partnership with METU, the company developed the “Biological Control Robot”. The platform, which emerged as an autonomous solution for disinfection of closed areas, can work for eight hours without interruption.

The Biological Fighting Robot, developed over the TMR-II Cetin bomb disposal robot used in the Turkish Armed Forces, minimizes the presence of people in areas where disinfection is desired with a five-litre disinfectant tank and ultraviolet light.
