National and international circulars and procedures, together with evolving and transforming technology, require system security as well as high levels of cyber maturity for companies. ASELSAN has taken new steps to create a cybersecurity culture in this direction.

ASELSAN Cyber Security Unit (ASELSAN Siber Güvenlik Birimi/ ASGB) has been established. ASGB, which will form system security engineering processes in the first phase, will begin to work with the representatives appointed by the Sector Presidencies. After the completion of the process, ASELSAN's cyber maturity level (Cybersecurity Maturity Model/CCMM) will be adjusted to 1. This level is aimed to be increased to 5 after the work to be carried out. ASGB will build secure software development infrastructure while creating threat models of the systems that ASELSAN will produce.

ASELSAN also inaugurated the Cyber Security Operations Centre. Thus, cybersecurity monitoring, intervention and improvement efforts were combined under one roof.
