Alican Ökçün, whı is Nero Industries Chairman of the Board, operating in different areas of the defence industry, especially fire extinguishing and explosion suppression systems, has been a guest of C4Defence live broadcast guest on the Instagram account.
Commenting on the company's processes in the field of fire suppression and explosion suppression systems, Ökçün stated that the target of the company is now a global market. Establishing R&D and Advanced R&D units to follow future technologies from today, the company continues its studies on UV and IR based detection systems. Suppression systems, which are currently used in a naval platform and two domestic aircraft, in addition to many armoured land vehicles, are among the systems preferred in the foreign market.
Explosion suppression systems, which must be resistant to all harsh conditions inside and outside the vehicle, consist of approximately 2,500 to 3 thousand components. Equipment requiring advanced engineering is requested to detect changes in the environment within 3 milliseconds and suppress the glare within 250 milliseconds in case of potential danger. The life of the personnel in the vehicle is entrusted to these systems.
