March 13, 2018Saudi Arabia Signs MOI for Additional Typhoons
Saudi Arabia has signed a memorandum of intent on 9 March for the acquisition of 48 Eurofighter Typhoons.Â
 “The UK Government has signed a Memorandum of Intent with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to aim to finalise discussions for the purchase of 48 Typhoon Aircraft,” BAE Systems said on Friday in a statement to the London Stock Exchange. No contract value or delivery timeline was disclosed.
Saudi Arabia currently operates 72 Typhoons which were ordered in 2007.
