The Russian Defence Ministry shared the number of infected personnel in the armed forces. The number announced as 254 thousand at the beginning of May has increased to 500 thousand. The ministry announced on Saturday that more than two thousand 100 people were diagnosed with viruses, including military training academies.

The number of COVID-19 cases in Russia has risen to 353,427.

Ukraine has also announced an increase in the number of personnel diagnosed with viruses in the armed forces. At the beginning of May, the number of cases described as 48, reached 62.

Explaining that a total of 91 staff recovered during the pandemic, Ukraine reported that two people died. The total number of cases reported in the country has reached approximately 21 thousand.

The number of cases diagnosed with viruses in the Turkish Armed Forces was announced as 156.
