Opening and shooting ceremonies were held at ROKETSAN's Lalahan facilities with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Chief of General Staff, Force Commanders, and ambassadors of friendly and allied countries such as Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

In the opening, a shot of ATMACA, one of ROKETSAN's original products which was exhibited for the first time at IDEF 2019, was displayed. Relations between Turkey and Greece gets tense and the shot is also an important message.

In the early hours of August 30, ATMACA shooting was carried out from the Ada Class Kınalıada Corvette. This shot was shown to the guests by tape recording. The TCG A-589 Işın, the Navy Rescue Ship, which was retired in 2017 after 38 years of service, was the target for the shooting. Işın, was brought off Sinop recently. The region was Notified NOTAM for the ATMACA shooting.

TCG IŞIN went out of service on March 30, 2017. TCG IŞIN, named after Marine Lieutenant Colonel Zeki IŞIN, who was martyred in the Refah disaster in 1941. The ship started to work in the US Navy under the name of USS SAFEGUARD on September 30, 1944 and was handed over to the Turkish Naval Forces with a ceremony held in the USA's PearlHarbor Hawaii Port on September 28, 1979. Lieutenant Colonel Işın's name is kept alive on the TCG Işın ship, which was built with national facilities with the board number A583.

The ATMACA missile was last fired on July 1, Maritime and Cabotage Day. During this firing test, it completed its flight trajectory with a range of 223 km with 10 turning points in 835 seconds and successfully hit the target. ATMACA, the anti-ship missile, which performed its flight by following the whole scenario in the mission plan, detected and tracked the target with the RF and fulfilled his duty successfully. ATMACA made this flight by sea skimming, flying at a low altitude of 3m above sea level.
