Akinci UAV from Bayraktar company made its second flight in an about 1-month interval. According to the information shared by the company's social media accounts, the first flight of the UAV took place on 6 December 2019. The UAV took off for the second time on 10 January 2020. The second flight aimed at system verification purposes and lasted 1 hour and 6 minutes. This UAV flew at an altitude of 5 000 feet. The interval between the first and second flights gives a clue as to how many unknowns and problems were encountered on the maiden flight. For this reason, the engineering in this field says, “the more important data is not about how long it took the realise the maiden flight, but how long it takes for the second flight ”.
