Did Philippines Gave Up with T129 Atak?

The bad news came from the Philippines, which started a comprehensive armament program to improve army capabilities.

According to the Philippines media and open sources, the country gave up the procurement of T129 Atak. AS a result of the news; the problems experienced in the export license of LHTEC CTS800 engines that power Atak helicopters shown. No official statement from neither Turkey nor Philippines yet. In the case of Manila turning to another solution, the candidates are AH-1Z Viper and AH-64E Apache. The United States approved the possible sale of both platforms under FMS to the Philippines at the end of April.
