New manufacturing technologies developed and expanded in the field of land vehicles paved the way for the development and production of these systems with locally.

Colombia, which frequently uses armoured vehicles in internal security operations, has announced that it will acquire new platforms. The procurement batch, which includes Hunter XL MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicles developed with domestic facilities, costs 500,000 USD. It is not specified how many Hunter XLs will enter the inventory within the scope of delivery. The vehicles in question will be used to monitor Colombian roads.

Hunter XL, designed by Colombian Armor International, was developed on the WorkStar 7300 chassis procured from Navistar Defense. The 4×4 vehicle has 330 hp DT-M9 and below and Allison 3000RDS automatic transmission.
