L3 Selected to Support SEA 1180 Programme

L3 Technologies has been awarded a contract in support of the Royal Australian Navy’s SEA 1180 Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) programme. Under the contract, L3 will deliver the integrated communications, bridge, navigation and platform management systems for the entire fleet. The main contractor of the SEA 1180 programme is Luerssen Australia who was selected to deliver 12 OPVs with the first two vessels set to be handed over in 2021.
