ASELSAN completed studies on radar systems for providing security in populated areas such as airports, train stations, shopping malls and public meeting areas. According to ASELSAN's 2017 annual report, the radar detects and identifies disguised explosives and weaponry. The company stated that the development work on 3D Imaging Radar, which is being conducted in collaboration with TÜBİTAK TEYDEB, has been completed. ASELSAN did not share any visuals on the radar.
