Gürcan Okumuş, who is the TÜBİTAK SAGE (Savunma Sanayii Araştırma ve Geliştirme Enstitüsü / Defence Industries Research and Development Instute) Institute Director, was a guest on live stream at C4Defence's Instagram account. Okumuş made important statements about Precision Guidance Kit and Winged Guidance Kit.

Indicating that the HGK-82 (Hassas Güdüm Kiti / Precision Guidance Kit), 83 and 84 families have been completed, Okumuş announced that studies is being carried out in the field of additional talent acquisition and jamming resistance. The good news is that the acceptance release test of the LHGK-84 (Laser Precision Guidance Kit) developed by SAGE and produced within ASELSAN was made two days ago.

The design and development activities of KGK-82 (Kanatlı Güdüm Kiti / Winged Guidance Kit) and 83 have been completed. Okumuş, has given the good news that a Wing Guidance Kit development work has been carried out for use in Mk 84 series 2000-pound air-to-ground ammunition for the first time in the world. It was also stated that a study is continuing to add thrust to KGKs.
