A fire broke out at The Perle SSN (S606), France's Rubis-class nuclear submarine. Maintenance and repair work was carried out on the platform, which was located in the Port of Toulon. Therefore, the submarine's nuclear reactor and ammunition were removed from the ship five months ago. It was also stated that the smoke coming out of the platform was not radioactive.
The worker and crew working in Perle were safely evacuated.
