Turkey has received space images obtained from the Turkish probe. The images appeared on the August 30 Victory Day.
The pictures taken from Turkish probe were shared at the opening of Roketsan's Satellite Launch Space Systems and Advanced Technologies Research Centre. The probe was sent 130 km away from Earth, out of the atmosphere, into real space. Ant the image sent demonstrates how world looked like. Those images were shared with the public for the first time during the ceremony.
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, on the other hand, spoke at the ceremony for the probe that sent those images: “Our first domestic Probe rocket, which we launched with national technologies, reached an altitude of 130 kilometres and exceeded the 100-kilometer line, which is accepted as the border of space. Thus, Turkey was completely taken the first step into space with the projects they develop. We are now in the space league with domestic and national technologies. “
