May 8, 2018Russian Army Begins Accepting Orlan-10 UAV
Russian Armed Forces have begun technical acceptance of the Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.
A multifunctional unmanned complex designed for surveying objects in hard-to-reach terrain, Orlan-10 is equipped with electronic warfare capability and is able to install interference transmitters and set cellular jamming zones. The 10 kg-UAV is capable of transmitting a video signal at a distance of up to 120 kilometres and being in flight for more than 10 hours.
The service will receive a total of 40 UAVs during May.
