Cobra II Payload Carrier Armored Vehicle, developed by Otokar, will be introduced for the first time under EFES 2018 military exercise. The Carrier Armored Vehicle developed based on the Cobra II platform, features the maneuverability of the Cobra II. The vehicle offers 2.5 tons payload capacity. The Cobra II is able to carry out different tasks besides its load carrying ability. The anti-aircraft gun mounted on the vehicle's chassis provides both close protection and defensive firepower. The biggest advantage of the vehicle is that it is developed on the same platform as Cobra II. This way, with the other Cobra IIs in inventory, standard spare parts can be easily provided, with an extra advantage of low operating and maintenance costs.
