The Indonesian Army (TNI) officially took delivery of eight Boeing AH-64E attack helicopters on May 16 at the Army Air Force Base at Ahmad Yani Airport in Semarang. Procurement of the eight helicopters is part of the Foreign Military Sales program to advance the country's defensive capabilities.
