Very popular with the population since they were at the centre of the television series “Windkracht 10”, the 5 Sea Kings of the Air Component of the Belgian Defence have made since 1976 about 60,000 hours of flight.
Of the five aircraft, one is already on display at the Air Museum in Brussels, and another will be at the base of Koksijde where they were based. The last three will be resold, potentially to serve as spare parts for other Sea Kings operators.
