More than 300 thousand soldiers and 1000 aircraft, will take part in September in one of the biggest exercises in the world, Vostok-2018 in Russia. Russian Minister of Defence Sergei Shoigu announced it. The training activity will be carried out between Siberia and the eastern part of the country.
Probably the Vostok-2018 will be comparable to the exercise carried out in 1981 by the Red Army with the Zapat-81, as confirmed by Shoigu himself. More than 100 thousand soldiers participated at Zapat 81.
