Gürcan Okumuş, who is the TÜBİTAK SAGE (Savunma Sanayii Araştırma ve Geliştirme Enstitüsü / Defence Industries Research and Development Instute) Institute Director, was a guest on live stream at C4Defence's Instagram account. Okumuş made important statements about domestic fuse studies.

Stating that there is a significant amount of foreign dependency for fuses, Okumuş gave the good news that this will end soon. It was stated that TST-101 fuse was developed and produced domestically, while Roketsan would be responsible for the production. TST-101, which is planned to be used in all ammunition families of Mark 82, 83 and 84 series, will also be integrated into indigenous free-fall ammunition.
