Brazilian Navy is set to receive its first Airbus Helicopters H225M Super Cougar helicopter in June. Designated UH-15B in national service, each helicopter can be armed with two MBDA Exocet AM39 Block 2 Mod 2 anti-shipping missiles. The platform will also be equipped with FLIR Systems’ Star SAFIRE III EO/IR payload, Atech TDMS tactical mission system and Telephonics APS-143C(V)3 radar.
Another four UH-15Bs will be delivered until August 2022.
