Anti-tank vehicles have great importance for surprise assaults, as well as suppressing enemy armoured elements and securing flanks.
Anti-tank vehicles, usually equipped with more than one missile, are able to eliminate their heavily armoured targets by engaging over long range. A step came from Israel for use on platforms to be developed under the Ottokar Brzoza Program launched by Poland. Rafael, announced in a press release, that it made proposal to PGZ (Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa) for Spike NLOS (Non-Line of Sight) missiles. The company offered a pac of eight launchers per vehicle for Polish platforms.
It is stated that the independent Spike NLOS module can be easily integrated into Rosomak 8×8 and BWP-1s that are already in active use. In addition, the NLOS module can be used on vehicles such as Poland's UMPG (Universal Modular Tracked Platform).
