Defense and Aerospace Industry Exporters’ Association (SSI) and the Aerospace and Defense Industry Manufacturers Association (SASAD) recently signed a cooperation protocol in order to move up to Turkey’s defense exports. The Chairman of the Executive Board of SASAD, Öner Tekin answered our questions about this cooperation.
C4Defence: Do you have any goals or suggestions to present to your members after this cooperation protocol? What kind of contribution do you predict will you be able to provide to the exporter companies?
Chairman of the Executive Board of SASAD Öner Tekin: SASAD and SSI are two organizations operating in the Turkish defense industry and representing an important part of the industry. Our aim is to provide all the necessary infrastructure and support to our sector companies by using all the strengths of our association and our association to increase the exports of our sector.
