3D Printing Tech in Defence Industry

The United States demonstrated its new 3D printed quadcopter unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) during a military event held in December. Having largely manufactured by 3-D printed parts, the new UAV is designed to meet immediate requirements of the troops during operations. In a 5 January report, the US Army stated that the soldiers could install  requirements into mission planning software and then receive a 3-D-printed aerial vehicle within 24 hours.
