At the Army Aviation Association of America(AAAA) annual summit, recent details about the Sikorsky-Boeing SB1 Defiant helicopter are shared. Defiant’s first flight took place on March 21, and second flight was on April 5. The 15-day short time difference between two flight, shows that program is going as planned. On second flight, helicopter reached the expected speed for that test. The platform also proved out its hover performance, manoeuvrability, pedal turns, and a hover ladder from ground level up to 30 feet altitude.
