Huğlu, one of Turkey's smoothbore shotgun manufacturers, introduced the 2018 Eurostary Ovis rifle, which is the product of Konya-based company’s rifle studies following smoothbore shotgun products. It can fire 7.62x51mm (.308 Winchester) ammunition. With a capacity of 3 + 1 cartridge, the gun has bolt action mechanism and a trigger pull force that can be adjusted from 600 to 2000 grams and weighs 7.5 kilograms.
The company is also working on transferring the experience gained in the field of rifled guns to the defence industry.
