Disclosure Carbon Project (CDP) Turkey Climate Change Program has reached its 10th year. Within the scope of the program, companies are reporting greenhouse gas emissions and improving performance in climate strategies.
This year, 54 companies participated in the 2019 CDP Turkey reporting of ASELSAN also took part. The company, which is at a A-point level, was one of five companies awarded the Climate Leader award.
ASELSAN, which was included in the CDP Turkey Program in 2012, is working on the development of goods and services for lower emissions. Thus, the company, which provides investment continuity in R&D projects for the opportunities that arise, spent a total of 2,163 million Turkish Liras on research and development activities.
The CDP report voluntarily participates in BIST-100 companies and other companies from Turkey.
CDP, a partner at Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum in Turkey, is working to change the business order to reduce the impact of climate change and protect natural resources.
