Netherlands Ministry of Defence revealed that a definitive answer about the purchase of the last three of the planned 37 F-35s might be given in October at the earliest. The purchase of 34 F-35s is now assured however there is no final decision on the last three aircraft. According to the Secretary of Defence Barbara Visser, a decision will be made on the basis of the Dollar exchange rate in September.
