Kale Group Vice President Osman Okyay has been a guest on live stream at C4Defence's official Instagram account. Okyay made statements about the manufacturing process of the F-35 Lightning II.

Reminding that the orders are given in the aviation sector, Okyay explained that the production is still continuing. Manufacturing studies continue until the end of Lots 13-14, then the process will halt until the decision of the manufacturing process that foresees the procurement of sub-components of the current situation in Turkey, which that is to continue until the last quarter of 2021 is foreseen. Underlining that the next process is a complex equation that also includes international relations, Okyay stated that the production for the F-35 Lightning II could stop at that date in the event that a different decision about the production is not made with a few exceptions.
