Russia to Showcase Its New Helicopter in 2021

The Mi-171A3 helicopter developed for use in Russia’s Arctic region is scheduled to be exhibited at MAKS-2021.

The Agreement was signed three years ago for the Mi-171A3, designed as an overseas variant of the Mi-171A2 platform.

The final installation of the helicopter will be made at the Ulan-Ude Aviation Factory, Russian officials said, the design process of the platform is finished in 2018 and the aerodynamic tests have been successfully completed.

The Mi-171A3 general purpose helicopter is scheduled to take on the shipping mission around the Arctic and Pacific Ocean.
