Arquus (former Renault Trucks Defence) unveiled the Scarabée: the company’s latest light tactical vehicle. The Scarabée features a monocoque composite armour body with the diesel-engine-based hybrid drive package located at the rear of the vehicle in order to achieve an operational weight of about 8,000 kg, . The cockpit is fully digitised, plug and play, and will feature full connectivity with all other components of the French Army’s ongoing Scorpion modernisation programme.
